Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail

Over the next 100 days our Goal is to show you step-by-step what and how you need to go about daily actions, that will result in you Starting and or Implementing and Growing an additional $100k of Income in your Online Business.
- Create a Plan
- Establish your Online Assets (including these next items 1 to 10)
- Website (this is your primary branding website (like your head office online)
- Opt-in Offer / Gift (sometimes called a shameless bribe)
- Auto-responder (decide who you are going to align with *hard to change down the track so do your research)
- Email follow-up sequence & broadcasts
- Front-end Offer (usually a low ticket product or service to recover some marketing expense and acquire a customer to sell to on the back-end offer)
- Squeeze Page(s) designed to capture the lead / email address.
- Sales Funnel (your best version of your online marketing & sales process / system)
- Recorded Webinar (position you as the expert and sell your offer on auto-pilot)
- Content Creation
- Content Distribution
- Traffic (Advertising / Marketing your offer)
- Brand Building (YOU Inc)
- Social Media (channels like Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc)… how to build a fan base and monetise this traffic source.
- Attraction Marketing, positioning yourself as the Expert (Events, Masterminds, Speaking engagements)
- Scaling your business
- … the BIG one missing off the picture YOUR BACK END OFFER (how to monetise your Customers).
The list above has a few fundamental sections (we’ll use an airplane analogy to highlight the point)
- building the aerodynamic aircraft so it will glide / fly
- powering the engine so the plane can sour and cover great distances
- speed of implementation and taking calculated risks
- the missing ingredient. What is it?
So first things first you need to create your online business presence (assets) which includes primarily your website(s), sales funnel(s) (including squeeze page, sales page, merchant page and thank you page). This is your OFFER. If this is NOT designed in a way that is appealing and will convert your TRAFFIC into Sales your business is doomed to fail right from the outset. This is point No. 1 above (WILL IT FLY).
Point No. 2 – TRAFFIC… this is testament to powering the plane with an engine (there are many engines that will ‘do the job’ however some are more efficient and effective than others…. just like Traffic (different advertising sources).
Point No.3 – Being an Entrepreneur requires TAKING CALCULATED RISKS. The single biggest skill (or attribute) you can develop is ‘speed of implementation’ – DO SOMETHING! It’s said that an Entrepreneur;
Jumps off the Cliff and Builds the Plane on the Way Down”
Point No.4 above is the missing ingredient. It can be summed up in one word “Economics” (refer to Perry Marshall). You MUST have a process (or system) to CONVERT the traffic to your offer into Sales. I.e. Does your business MAKE MONEY.
